Our training programmes are set up to teach you all you need to know to make diving safe and fun. Click here for details about our next FREE event.
A valuable tool during rehabilitation
For many people with disabilities, diving is one of the very few activities during which they can forget their physical challenges.
Many participants describe it as an important stimulus in their rehabilitation, their mental and physical condition, and they very much appreciate the valuable social interaction with other people through scuba diving.
Throughout your diver training, you will discuss your particular diving aims
with our staff and we will work with you accordingly. |

Disabled Diver Buddy Training
All divers need a buddy to dive with. We can teach experienced divers to buddy with disabled divers.
We will develop your awareness about various disabilities, what aspects need special attention, the needs of the disabled diver and how to incorporate these in the dive plan.
To enter the course, you need to be a certified Rescue Diver or hold a similar recognised dive qualification. |

Professional Levels.
If you hold a diving qualification at Divemaster or above and would like to know more about professional level training, please contact us to discuss how we can assist you.
Through our scubAbility © programmes, we are proud of our involvement with diving for the disabled both nationally and internationally.
Most of this would not be possible without our team of dedicated volunteers. Please contact us if you would like to get involved. |
