Try Scuba Diving
Not sure is scuba is for you, then come and give it a try in a safe and comfortable swimming pool.
Provides candidates with the necessary knowledge and skills required to dive safely in a confined water environment.
Provides candidates with the necessary knowledge and skills required to dive safely in an open water environment under direct supervision of a Dive Leader or Instructor to a maximum depth of 12 metres.
Open Water Diver
Provides candidates with the necessary knowledge and skills required to dive safely in an open water environment with other divers of at least the same level of certification. All training is performance based, achievement of all, or part of the required objectives will determine if any added safety measures that will be required of the individual.
Advanced Open Water Diver
Provides divers with a disabilities with a structured, well‐supervised means of gaining additional diving experience. By participating in various tasks the diver gains a broader awareness of dive skills and the underwater environment, thus improving the individual’s diving capabilities.
For individuals who was previously certified as a diver and for any reason became disabled. This allows the individual to regain a diving certification without having to complete an entire diving training program.
Provides children (min 12 years) with the necessary knowledge and skills required to be in swimming pool environment.
The course teaches a recreational diver to function as a disabled diver’s assistant, fulfilling the requirements for disabled divers that must have an Assistant Diver as one of their diving buddies. Min age 18 years, min of 30 logged dives, a Rescue Diver qualification and current CPR/First Aid (within the past 24 months).
A specialty course for qualified therapists to provide candidates with the necessary knowledge and skills required to safely and effectively administer exercise therapy in a confined water environment.
